yeah..first Michelle..you can e-mail me..but can't e-mail back..but it depends. I do anyway! bad i know..but yeah..everyone does it! Anywho..I'm glad everyone had fun on the trip to New York..sounds fun! well anywho..i will start with Stuart...so tryouts 4 bball! awesome! i'm totally stoked..yeah actually i have 3 set for baptism...Alisha is 10, and is a very smart girl..love her family..then there is riley..12 year old boy..moved into our ward..taught by other sisters..Oscar is still set..but he isn't ready for baptism..we have two awesome investigators..Michelle Swansal and amy lamb.. so far things are good. i have these bad days but my companion is amazing. i'm being more open..and yeah my district leader helps me out alot. Michelle and Keah-- seems like you guys are doing aweome..oh the other day i had an awesome spiritual experience..i talked to my companion and district leader..man so i'm better now! Bret is getting married?!? to who!? i hope he is happy! and so the branch is getting smaller? ha! well yeah the temple out here is awesome..outside you stand in this spot..and the trees talk back..well just an echo..and inside the temple is amazing too! well time is short..whats new with everyone? how is ashley mansfield?, jakey young? aaron and matt tobler? oh and sun block sucks! i forgot you have to reapply every hour! haha...well love you all!

Hello you!
umm happy birthday michelle! Ha ha. i totally remembered! well i'm out in the mission field..my third day out in the field. I'm serving in the greenvalley stake..the town is henderson..the wards are valle verde and silver springs...both family wards. Only the elders get to serve in the single wards.. Oh i'm getting pretty good at street contactings and door approaches..hehe my trainer is siter done! she went to the singles ward with Bret Gadbury..and the first mystery dinner thing..she had on overalls and a red headband thing...if you find a picture of her..send it to me! anywho.. my zone is huge..i'm in the vegas valley..some parts look to be bad..but i don't know yet. haha ..umm the people are cool..so far..i was so close to being in Logandale(yay! Logan Whitmore) so my Zone is off the Hook! Zone leaders...Elder Whipple and Gruwellis a beast..whipple is like a nerd but awesome..my district leader is Grimmer..umm dont know him that well yet..then from my MTC district there is elder franas..we are glad to have each other..i totally miss the horrible mtc food..hahah..anywho i'm trying to send pictures home but i can't e-mail them to you! i will figure it out..haha my last MTC devotional was with Brother Richard J. Heaton(administer director) it was all about prayer..and totally rocked my world!
Helaman 5:41-42(after you pray that dark cloud will be gone)..then we had a departure devotional. D &C 109: "armed with God's power and angels charged over them."--diligent, true, and faithful his name upon me(promised to those who are called to serve) far out right, be like the sons of helaman mentally and spiritually strong..matthew 14...keep eye focus on the lord.
well i have two teaching appointments and possible baptism august 1st. His name is chasen and yeah he is having issues at the moment. well anywho...i'm out of time..i'm totally hungry again..haha but i miss everyone...and i hope the branch is doing awesome..keep you updated...

Hey Guys and Gals--
Wow! the MTC is amazing. Im in a trio with Sister Smoot and Rigsby. haha. my District is so fly. Im learning to love them all. haha. so i have been busy with teaching appointments, making phone calls in the RC, and making lesson plans. Teaching others, service and just enough time to eat and sleep..my comps and I have been getting along somewhat but its hard..Oh i have a reading tutor..we talk about the Book of Mormon. I understand so much because of Sister Dittmar (my Tutor). I'm the only convert in my district and branch. I will try sending photos later but who knows...i'm learning alot.. Brother Smith(my teacher) says i'm right where i need to be. Most of the time, i feel left behind but that isn't true. Elder Salmon(district leader) told me that i'm doing just find. --so this funy part. Elder shields in my district..he is soo funny. he makes me laught all the time. He is from mississipppi and haha. he calls me his BFF or twinkie. I love it. I found a goof ball just like me! haha. But yeah the other day.. i was sad. And he said, "Sister Lucas. You make me want tod better. I don't know if i was a convert, if i would go on a mission." it made my day. ha ha. we crack jokes all the time..in class, outside, lunch and dinner. That elder is my homie. Ha ha..
On another note..i got set apart by the MTC 2nd counslor..it was amazing..my comps were there also, the best time of my life. Also the 4th of July was AWESOME. we watch this tacky movie they made..no one took it seriously..the spirit is so strong..ha the sisters are amazing. and the elders..well they are so insane.. oh my i found a girl in my branch who reminds me so much of Nikki Young..i miss my Nikki Hugs! Her name is sister Kelly, she left for Sweden...but all is well. Man, Wow i'm so glad that i was taught by Lolotai and Adams..haha it is helping out a lot. oh to spencer..he is going to have the best time of his life in the MTC..Man the elders are pretty much sweet.. they are just so awesome and oh...so VERY 19! haha. i'm not used to being called "sister Lucas"..Ahhh so funny! at times i don't answer...
on a more serious note..i'm learning more and more about my purpose. me and my Heavenly Father..i feel his love everywhere i go. My favorite quote.."in the mission field its only going to be you and your heavenly father. No mom. No dad and no relief pticher for you." Elder Ballard..(i think thats how it went.) I'm finally happy. I get to leave July 21st at 5 am for vegas. i'm so stoked to meet my APS and my mission president and my trainer..i'm so nervous..i had some others notes i wanted to share but i don't have my journal on me..haha..anywho..i hope everyone had an awesome time in New York ( my companion, sister smoot is serving Palmyra Rochester mission) HOLLA. oh so we have an MTC quote book! haha..if off the hook. .and i have videos and pics. haha. well if you want to write me..send letters to my mission home..its on facebook! But i'm off to the Provo temple..haha

First Letter from MTC
A letter from the MTC from Britt to MichelleHey sissy..how are you??? this is my first full week at the mtc!!! It has been hard and killer..my branch and district are the stuff!!! man i love them so much!!! ha ha...Well im in a trio with sister rigsby and sister smoot...they are great girls...and i love them...so i have my first teaching appt the other day..it was great....we taught with the spirit and finally clicked as a trio!!! my district is OFF THE HOOK!!!....The elders are amazing..I love them...my favorite is elder shields...he is my bff!!!! lol...inside joke!!1 he he..well things are going well...just trying to stay focus on my purpose and sharing the gospel....the spirit here is so strong..i love it now...i almost went home the other day..but after i got set apart by the mtc secong counslor(sp)..things have changed..my life is forever changed...talking with him and getting set apart was great...my comps went also...so many blessings came from it...how is the branchg..post this on facebook...I miss them all....for my address my po box number is 128....i want letters...I love you guys...oh snap!!! ha ha...i go to vegas july 21st...Holla...so stoked about that..\love you allSister Lucas !!! =)
